James Dulaney Obituary

James Wilford DuLaney, Sr. was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and veteran. He passed from this world on 4 March 2022 at age 81. James Sr was born 21 November 1940 to Fred DuLaney, Sr (deceased) and Catherine Hardie (deceased). After graduating from high school, James, Sr. joined the Army and married Betty Jane Huntley (Decatur, GA). Together, they had 2 children: Staci (Decatur, GA) and James, Jr (Sharon) (Shakopee, MN). In addition to his former wife and two children, James, Sr. is survived by his siblings JoAnn (Benjamin) Long, Huntsville, AL; Frank (Ellen) DuLaney, Kingsport, TN; and Mary DuLaney, Bluff City, TN; five grandchildren Crystal (Alfred) Brooks, James III, Christian, Kendra, and Jacobi; and two great grandchildren Bryce and Christian; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Jr., Robert, Thomas, and Kenneth.

Interment will be in the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Mountain Home, TN. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
