Frederick Roberts

Frederick George Anthony Roberts,68, of Lithonia, GA, passed away on March 5, 2023, of a broken heart.

“Freddy” was born on November 30, 1954, to Norman Roberts and Antoinette League in Kingston, JA. After graduating from Kingston Technical Hight School in 1974, he went on to study accounting at College of Arts Science and Technology. After graduation, he landed his first job as an Accounting Clerk for Jamaica Railway Corporation for 14 years. In 1979, he met Malvia Pryce, later to wed and have one child, Carey Roberts.

Gifted with words and numbers, anyone who knew Frederick knew that he was a brilliant man of many talents. He was a talented poet, deeply passionate about music and football (soccer) as well as an avid bird watcher. He also cared deeply for children and others who were unable to care for themselves.

Frederick was an unforgettable and beloved soul, known for his way with words and loving heart by family, coworkers, and friends alike. He was unendingly proud of his son, Carey, and appropriately honored the relationships of all he had loved.

Frederick was predeceased by his parents. He is retained in heart by his son Carey Roberts (Aundria/daughter-in-law); grandchildren, Vera & Kydan; siblings – Donald, Dawn, Paul, Claire, Hopeton, Shirley, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
